Dewatering Tech
OVERVIEW
This role would suit an experienced Dewatering Technician with strong practical skills across dewatering systems, HDPE welding, pump and pipeline installation and experience working on mine sites
ABOUT THE JOB
- Work closely with Supervisors, Leading hands and team members to maintain safe and productive operations
- Install and maintain dewatering systems including pumps, pipelines, valves and associated infrastructure
- Install repair and modify HDPE pipelines using electrofusion, extrusion and butt welding
- Inspect, service and troubleshoot dewatering equipment
- Assist with the set up and dismantling of dewatering infrastructure for dam, civil and TSF pojects
- Complete pre-starts, routine maintenance and required site documentation
- Operate plant and equipment in accordance with training and safety requirements
- Complete JHAs, Take 5s, toolbox talks and other BMR and client HSEQ requirements
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
- Strong HDPE installation and welding experience
- Current welding certifications
- Experience with dam lining, QA/QC and TSV dewatering infrastructure
- Competent operating dewatering pumps, valvles and associated plant
- Experience in mining is essential
