Machine Operator
OVERVIEW
This role would suit someone with experience and appropriate tickets to operate a wide range of machinery.
This job would involve continious movement across Australia on a FIFO basis.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Operate the IT Loader, Telehandler, Skid Steer and excavators
- Assist with trenching, backfilling, earthworks and material movement
- Assist with dam construction, site preparation and general site works
- Complete daily pre-start and report on any faults or hazards
- Complete relevant logbooks and site documentation
- Work closely with Supervisors, Leading Hands, and crew members to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Assist with general labouring duties as required
ABOUT YOU
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Strong advantage to have a Poly Welder’s ticket
- Experience in mining is essential
- Ability to work FIFO on remote projects
- Strong commitment safety and quality
